All Saints’ Academy recognises that equal opportunities should be an integral part of good practice within the Academy.
The Academy aims to establish equal opportunity in all areas of its activities including creating an environment in which the contribution and needs of all people are valued fully.
Equality and diversity are addressed explicitly and regularly with both staff and students through briefings and assemblies. Teachers are required to know the specific academic and pastoral needs of students, and to plan to meet them in order for all students to make good progress. The Academy’s Spiritual Values and British Values are promoted side by side, with an emphasis on recognising, encouraging and celebrating where these values are demonstrated throughout the Academy. Staff, students and parents are consulted on Academy practices, policies and procedures through a planned series of forums and questionnaires which allow all members of our community the opportunity to give positive feedback or to suggest areas for further improvement.
