Transition – Year 7 2026

Welcome to our All Saints’ Academy family

Congratulations and welcome to the All Saints’ Academy family!

We are absolutely delighted that you will be joining us at All Saints’ Academy. Welcome to our community!

Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone, and we are committed to making your transition to Year 7 smooth, positive and full of opportunity. At All Saints’ Academy, our Christian ethos underpins everything we do. We are a community built on respect, compassion and high expectations, where every student is known, valued and supported to flourish. Whether in the classroom, through enrichment activities or in the wider life of the Academy, you will be encouraged to discover your strengths, grow in confidence and aim high in all that you do.

Over the coming months, we will be working closely with your primary school and keeping in touch with you and your family to help you feel prepared and excited for September. Our transition events will give you the chance to meet new classmates, get to know your teachers and experience life at the Academy first-hand. By the time you arrive for your first day, you will already feel part of Team All Saints’.

We cannot wait to welcome you and begin this journey together. Your future starts here, and it’s full of promise.

Your child will be invited to spend two days at All Saints’ Academy. They’ll meet peers in their year group and participate in lessons across all departments. It’s a great chance to experience academy life first-hand!

A hot school dinner will be provided for every student free of charge. If you would prefer for your child to have a packed lunch, please provide one for them.

Students are encouraged to bring a bottle of water and a snack for break time. Students should make their own way to and from school and wear their primary school uniform.

Your child will need to be at the Academy for 8.30 am, where they will be welcomed at the main entrance by staff and can be collected from outside the Cotswold Hall at 3.10 pm. We are asking that students wear their primary school uniform, but bring trainers with them in a bag to enable them to take part in the exciting sports activities.
