This February half-term, a group of our students embarked on an incredible skiing adventure in Bormio, Italy, and what an experience it was! The trip was a resounding success, offering students the perfect mix of challenge, excitement, and fun.
Blessed with breathtaking scenery, fantastic weather, and outstanding slopes, our group enjoyed what can only be described as the best ski tour yet. The students fully embraced the challenge, showing remarkable progress throughout the week. As their skills improved, they were able to tackle more of the piste, making the experience even more rewarding.
The excitement didn’t stop when the skiing ended. Our evening entertainment schedule was packed with activities that kept everyone engaged and energized. From relaxing in the expansive spa centre—featuring jacuzzis, saunas, ice baths, steam rooms, and in-pool massage beds—to competitive bowling and arcade games, every evening was filled with fun. Students also enjoyed a lively quiz and karaoke night, as well as a trip to an authentic Italian pizzeria, making sure no one went hungry after a day on the slopes!
Throughout the trip, our students displayed exemplary behaviour and were praised by hotel staff, ski instructors, restaurant employees, swimming centre staff, and even members of the public. Their positive attitude and enthusiasm were a credit to our Academy, making us incredibly proud.
Hearing students share their excitement and joy from the experience—both during the trip and on the journey home—reminds us why these opportunities are so valuable. Both students and staff had an unforgettable week, and we can’t wait to start planning our next ski adventure!
