Year 10 Students Crack the Code in Cyber Escape Challenge

Posted: 15th October 2024

Year 10 students have completed the CGI Cyber Escape 2.0 challenge, a unique escape room experience focused on cyber security. Housed within a 40ft shipping container on the Academy grounds, this interactive experience ran throughout the week, offering students the chance to develop crucial digital skills.

Facilitated by CGI, a leading IT and business consultancy, the Cyber Escape room aimed to:

  • Teach practical skills in a fun and engaging way.
  • Increase cyber security awareness among young people.
  • Help students learn how to protect themselves and their families in the digital world.

Students worked in small teams to solve puzzles and cyber-related tasks within 50 minutes. The challenge was designed to them gain vital knowledge in a hands-on environment. CGI’s Cyber Escape 2.0 is part of their broader STEM@CGI programme, which aims to inspire young people to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and maths.

It was a fantastic opportunity for All Saints’ students to develop real-world skills while having fun.
